Microblading is ideal for those who want to fully reconstruct, define, cover gaps, or fill-in over plucked brows. It’s also a good fit for clients seeking to add a slight arch to brows. During the microblading process, Vanessa uses a special microblading pen to draw individual strokes. Because the work is incredibly tedious and detailed, it requires a skilled practitioner to achieve natural results.
Microblading often takes around two hours to complete, but typically lasts for two to three years. The first hour is spent drawing the shape of brows with a special pencil. This important step ensures clients get a customized look that is flattering, and properly frames their features. Vanessa advises clients to be cautious of places that claim to complete the process in one hour. “It’s not a rushed procedure, so it should never be done that quickly.”
