Excellence in itself is an art. At Xclusive Ink, we prioritize the tattoo experience, and we strive to give clients more than phenomenal ink.
By instituting our Artist of the Month Award, we challenge our staff to support their personal and professional growth by being “excellent” in all the ways that matter.
What Makes a Tattoo Artist Award Winner?
The following are some criteria we consider in our voting process. The competition is based on anonymous votes by peers and Xclusive Ink management.
- Client Relationships: Serving clients with genuine interest in their tattoo visions. A truly great tattoo artist offers clients ideas and expertise, but listens and communicates with respect and support for their personal preferences and opinions.
- Work Ethic: Working to improve the experience for those who visit our shop, and being a source of positive energy that uplifts and encourages others. The tattoo artist of the month does not ask, “Whose job is this?” Instead, they pitch in and offer help or solutions.
- Growth Mindset: Understanding the concept of growth as a lifelong journey means never saying, “I know all there is to know.” A successful tattoo artist aims to continuously learn, improve their work, expand their skills and explore new creative challenges.
